Pro: The hosts were very helpful. Instructions on entry very well explained. The location is fantastic. Close to everything with restaurants at your doorstep, shops, and beach just across the road. The apartment is very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed and good shower. I would highly recommend this property.

A very cleverly utilised room in the heart of Monterosso al Mare

Pro: Although we did not meet the owner, they were available through the chat. The location was great, though pack light - cars are to be left about 500 m away or 750 m away, depending on parking you choose. The apartment is lovely and very well equipped. Bathroom was great and pressure in shower was impressive. The windows isolated out noises of the restaurant-guests late in the evening. From the apartment you can see the sea. A little fridge in the room, along with wine glasses and opener was a great touch. There was tea, water and some snacks handy. Great design of a little space.

Contro: The proximity to train and church bell tower (double wake up call at 7 am despite the soundproofing windows). For someone with a weak condition or sore legs/back the trek up 3 flights of stairs may be a life sentence (though this is the beauty of Cinque Terre).

Pro: Great location. Comfortable room. Easy check in. Great communication with hosts.

Contro: Quite pricey.

Pro: Great location. Hosts kindly let us leave luggage early and also provided great restaurant recommendations. Liked having a coffee machine and a few snacks. Ideal for a night to recover after walking the Cinque Terre.

Lovely apartment in the historic area close to the beach, shopping and most of the restaurants. Lovely hosts!

Pro: We loved the location so close to where most of the restaurants were and Very close to the beach. Train station was about 900 metres from the apartment and an easy walk. Nice clean apartment. The owners were very lovely who offered to help us with our luggage up and down the stairs. They gave us many suggestions for restaurants and were very accomodating and gave us beach towels so that we could go to the beach!

Contro: There are many steps to get up to the third floor of this apartment in the historic centre. When I realised there were 3 floors I emailed the owners and said that we might struggle getting up so many steps with our large bags and immediately our host offered to help us take them up and bring them down! Can’t do better than that! He helped turn what could have been a big negative into a positive!

Nice place to stay!

Pro: N/a for breakfast. The location was great. Bed comfy.

Contro: There was AC but it couldn’t cool great - but it was super hot outside. Luckily there were ceiling fans.
