La Terrazza Sulla Baia The Balcony By The Bay

Pro: Posizione centralissima fantastica, doppia vista sul mare, sia sulla baia che sull altro lato. Appartamento arredato benissimo e completo di tutto.

A little slice of beachside perfection

Pro: The location of the property was amazing. The owners were lovely and gave us a tour of the accommodation and lots of tips about the area and suggestions on restaurants. The kitchen and master bedroom led out onto a balcony that overlooked the beach and Bay of Silence. The twin bedroom and living area looked out towards the Bay of Fairies. Ferry stop (summer only) and restaurants on your doorstep. Train station 10 mins walk away and on the mainline to Milan, Pisa and Cinque Terre. We could easily spend a week or so here.

Pro: What a balcony! What a bay! Maurizia had replied quickly to my messages, and arranged the permit for us to unload the luggage right in front of the flat. She and her husband greeted us, helped us carry the bags upstairs, and showed us where we could park for free. The flat was beautiful, excellent location beside the sandy beach and beautiful horseshoe bay, a few steps from many restaurants, and a few minutes walk to the second beach. The best holiday we've had for some years.

Pro: Location and fabulous views. Apartment was well equipped with modern appliances.

Contro: We only had one deck chair and there were two of us . No ceiling lights in the sitting/dining room only a wall light and a table lamp which made the room slightly dark.

Amazing location, with an older, stylish apartment.

Pro: The location is sensational, watching the sun glisten on the bay from the balcony was amazing. As its on a quieter bay it was nice to move between the lying on the sand then sitting on the balcony reading, listening to the ocean lap against the shore just below the balcony. The apartment is large enough for a family with the nicely sized bedrooms at opposite ends of the apartment. It is a stylish old apartment with lovely terrazzo floors and high alfresco ceilings. The kitchen has been renovated to a nice standard. The old style gives it charm and the location makes it amazing. The host was very helpful and gave some good advice for the area on places to visit. Definitely a place to stay, close to the old restaurants and bars but then again the town is quite small so most places are walking distance. The train is about 15 minutes easy walk.

Contro: Not much, like i said it is an older style apartment so expect some older style items but they are not tatty or broken

Pro: Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, wunderschöne Lage, mit tagsüber belebtem Strand unter dem Balkon und herrlichen Blick aufs Meer

Heerlijk aan het strand met goede restaurants

Pro: Mooi gelegen , met een mooi uitzicht op de baai en aan de andere kant de ander baai. Het is een fijn appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt.

Contro: Voor ons was het geen probleem, maar misschien goed om te weten. Het appartement ligt mooi aan het strand waar in de zomermaanden van. s’morgens vroeg tot ‘s nachts mensen aan het genieten zijn. Maar met je ramen en luiken dicht hoor je dit bijna niet .
