The perfect place from which to explore Emilia-Romagna!

Pro: Prior to and throughout our stay we were in contact with Mario who handed over the keys and walked us through the property to show us the gas meter, boiler location etc. Mario gave us benefit of his local knowledge so we were able to prioritise out trips, and gave us a bottle of his homemade wine which was very good! Mario was the perfect host and the property has everything you need.

Contro: Nothing. The property is in a secluded location in Emilia-Romagna but this is exactly what we wanted. The property is well-equipped and the views from the village of Montebabbio, and the Circolo della Caccia (Hunters Club bar) are spectacular. Bologna, Modena, and Parma are all within easy reach.

Pro: The host Mario was very friendly. Quiet place with wanderful view of surrounding hills. Great place to spend couple of days when exploring Reggio-Emilia.

Great value in a beautiful and peaceful setting, 30 min from Modena.

Pro: Beautiful location looking over rolling hills and luxurious sunsets. About 30min from Modena. Host was kind and brought over an outdoor table for us when we asked. Great local restaurant around the corner. Convenient parking. Quiet and peaceful at night. Lovely hikes nearby, especially out of a nearby pub- also with great views. The two bedrooms were perfect for our small family. Exactly what we were looking for.

Contro: Beds could have been more comfortable. Kitchen could have been better supplied - especially for coffee. The coffee pot provided was not clean and we weren't able to use it, and there aren't really any places nearby to get coffee.
